Bistro Set with Table and Two Chairs

Bistro Set Table and Two ChairsBistro Set Table and Two Chairs 2

This bistro set is an incredible value at $50.  From the pictures, they look like they are in decent quality.  Their potential lies within cleaning them up and making them shine.  The owner said the paint is peeling off, but I suggest stripping it off and cleaning the metal.  This set really has potential for great outdoor furniture.

Faarup Mobelfabrik Lean Shelf

Faarup Modelfabrik shelf

This lean shelf is great for a New York City apartment, where space is limited and valuable.  I like that it functions as a shelf and a cabinet, making it more functional for small spaces.  The shelves are adjustable except the bottom one which has a glass cover.  The wood that extend above the top of the shelf give it a quirky charm.  The wood looks like it’s in great condition and for $40 it’s pretty cheap.  Get it soon though, because the seller is moving it to storage after tonight.

Glass Hair Receptacles as Flexible Use Jars

The seller claims this is a Victorian Hair Receptacle, which is really strange but interesting as anthropological objects.  Depending on how big these are, and how comfortable you are with drinking out of something that once held left over hair, these jars would make beautiful cups.  These jars have beautifully embossed patterns.  There are a variety of uses if you don’t feel like drinking out of these things.  The seller used it as flower vases.  You can use them as coin receptacles or anything else your imagination comes up with.
