Sometimes the same old wooden dining table is too conventional and boring.  For the hip and modern, try an industrial steel table.  Something that very light and thin.  Something where you can eat a morning bagel at with the television on in the background and a newspaper spread out.  You’ll probably need some stools since this table is higher than your average dinning table.

Incredibly Cheap and Thick White Sofa Bed

This is being sold for $25!  The original IKEA Lycksele Sofa Bed costs $299 before tax.  This is an incredible deal for a really stylish and minimalist leather sofa bed.  If you find out that the cover is dirty, you can actually remove it easily and just wash it.  I like the lack of a frame; the object is contained within its function a resting place.  From the IKEA description, the sofa turns into a bed that can fit two people.  Its the thickness that tricks you into thinking it is small.  $25 is a steal.

Vintage Industrial Filing Cabinet

I really love the details on this filing cabinet from the brass label holder/bin pull to the latch closure to the string-tied tag.  You certainly can’t find this much character in a filing cabinet at your local office supply depot.

Sitting in Corners

The piece above is the FUSION from Ikea.  It’s $300 dollars from Ikea.  The guy is selling it for $160.  That’s almost 50% off.  The position of the chair as it spatially fits into the table is pretty unique.  Notice that the legs of the table are pushed to the center.  This makes it less stable but allows for the cornering of the chairs.  I wonder if you could put the legs not at the corners like most tables but at the bisect of each square’s face.
