Vintage 1970’s Waiting Room Seating

Vintage 1970’s Waiting Room Seating

In addition to a nice comfy sofa, add this to your sitting area. Waiting room seating are definitely not meant for lounging but you might not mind sitting around and reading a book on these chairs while hanging out in your living room. Green vinyl seats connected to a formica table with magazine shelf.

A Living Swimming Table

This is a pretty ridiculous but terrific table.  The picture does not do the concept of this table justice.  They filled it with crap when all it really needs is fish.  Goldfish, whose slow waving tails flow like curtains caught in a soft breeze.  Throw some sinking rocks or beads or some type of sediment in there.  Nothing too large and distracting. If you are able, and I suggest you become able, set up a light at the bottom of the bowl.  Place these all over your back yard or outdoor space.  Lazy lumbering shadows will dance to the movement of fishes, will light up a dark night.

I found this in the fatwallet.com forum.  The poster feels that something like this so much under $200 is a great deal.

Saarinen-style Tulip Dining Set

I’d get this myself if it didn’t clash with my Flintstones bedrock dining set. Otherwise, for $300 it’s a steal for a stylish dining table and four chairs. Spaceship and robot maid not included.  Apparently, Apartment Therapy has similar tastes.
